Dean to visit campus

Democratic Presidential Candidate Howard Dean, M.D., returns to Iowa to tour Iowa college campuses on Friday, Nov. 14 to highlight his higher education policy and rally support among young voters. Dean will travel by bus with college students and media.

On Nov. 15, Dean will participate in a presidential forum at the National Summit of Agriculture & Rural Life.  Following the Summit, Melissa Etheridge will join Dean at a pre-Jefferson-Jackson Dinner Rally at Central Campus High School in Des Moines.  After the rally Dean will attend the Iowa Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines.

Interested reporters should contact Kristofer Eisenla at(515) 243-5433 by Nov. 13 for a reservation on the bus, which will take reporters from the rally with a police escort to the Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner quickly and will return them to their cars at the conclusion of the evening.
