Cendant filing brings separation closer

Hotel Booking Cendant Corporation have revealed that Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, its wholly owned subsidiary and intended parent company of its Hospitality Services ( including Timeshare Resorts) businesses, has filed a registration statement on Form 10 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In addition to more than 60, 000 hotels and six top cruise lines, Groople offers group bookings for air, car, bus and rail. In February, Groople partnered with Travelocity, allowing broader distribution of Groople group rates and inventory on Travelocity.com when users select more than 5 hotel rooms. The past year has also brought partnerships with Choice Hotels International, Cendant Hotels, Best Western and La Quinta Hotels, increasing Groople inventory and thus providing even more hotel options for groups booking through the Groople website and call center.

Travel Agency This achievement marks the second milestone in Cendants previously announced plan to separate into four independent companies, the first being the filing of the Form 10 for Realogy Corporation on April 3, 2006.

As CFO of The Mark Travel Corporation, a $1.5 billion travel package provider with multiple travel businesses and a travel technology company, Trisept Solutions, Hyland implemented its first integrated planning process (strategic and financial). Prior to his position at Mark Travel, Hyland was the CFO for Galileo Americas, the global distribution system owned by the Cendant Corporation. While at Galileo, he improved profit per employee by 56% and was honored as one of Cendant Travel Distribution Services employees of the year.
