Expedia extends rent-a-car dealExpedia extends rent-a-car dealHotel Booking Expedia is entering into an agreement with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to extend its participation in Expedia's Preferred Rental Car Program for an additional two years. 'Split Payment' On Holidays Launched For The First time Online Expedia.co.uk today becomes the first online travel agent to allow customers to split the payment on their holiday bookings in a move to give greater flexibility and choice for travellers and enabling people to travel at an affordable price. Customers booking an Expedia flight and hotel or flight, hotel and car package will be given an option to pay a deposit rather than having to find the full cost of the holiday at the time of booking, making it easier and more affordable than ever for people to let themselves go on holiday in 2006. Travel Agency Paul Brown, president of Expedia's Partner Service Group, commented: "This relationship brings value and convenience to our customers and it represents a step forward in our commitment to form long-lasting and meaningful relationships with our valued supply partners. It also signifies our firm commitment to give our customers access to great prices, unparalleled service, choice and trusted advice." We booked the flight and hotel through Expedia and checked previous reviews on tripadvisor before booking, so we knew what to expect. Cheap Hotel "We are excited to continue serving our mutual customers who appreciate our award-winning service and great value," said Jim Runnels, senior vice president of rental for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. "Expedia's Preferred Rental Car Program has proven to be a highly effective marketing and merchandising opportunity for us to help increase our exposure to shoppers on Expedia.com." Flight Booking The terms of the agreement cover bookings on Expedia.com, Expedia.ca and through Expedia Corporate Travel. After planning air travel and hotel accommodations on Expedia.com, branded by Hilton and eBags and offering a deal on new luggage. Seeing the eBags logo on the card, the traveler recalls seeing it on Expedia.com as well as on the Northwest Airlines site.
