Hotel Booking Dock Holidays Marina tournament, held at North Myrtle Beach May 5 - 8, kicked off the Series' llth season, but high winds and seas that ran up to eight-foot hampered fishing. Nineteen boats fished the tournament. Highlight of the tournament was the tagging and release of a blue marlin by angler Paul Bailey aboard the boat TroubleMaker, owned by Jim Gabrish of Charleston. Trouble Maker placed first in the tournament and won the Conservation Award with 300 points for billfish tagged and released. The largest wahoo, 51.4 pounds, was caught by Mike Morland aboard the South Run, owned by Willie McRae of Mt Pleasant.
