Hotel Booking Oregon has given Portland $12.4 million in "Clean Water" loans that are a little unusual: They will help buy new trees and shrubs as well as new sewers and water treatment equipment.

A $2.5 million appropriation for Delaware, Kingwood, Lambertville, Stockton and West Amwell in Hunterdon and Franklin in Somerset will be used for the Delaware and Raritan Canal Watershed Greenway. Hunterdon and Somerset counties will also share in a $600, profit camps and a $3 million grant for the Raritan River Watershed Greenway. Hunterdon County will get part of the $4 million appropriation for the Delaware River Watershed, part of the $1 million for the Musconetcong Watershed Greenway and part of the $3 million for watershed lands and reservoirs. Somerset will share in the $1 million for historic resource preservation.
