Cheap Hotel The 80-page Open Space and Recreation Plan envisions Kinnelon as a series of four interconnected green belts that stem from the Pequannock and Rockaway rivers basins, the Waughaw Mountain range and the Stone House Brook. It recommends that Kinnelon partner with neighboring towns such as Pequannock, West Milford and Montville to buy up ecologically-sensitive land that is threatened with development.

Travel Agent Still, the report notes, the more than 2,500 acres of vacant land includes large parcels owned by real estate companies. Among the biggest parcels is a 515-acre tract owned by Long Meadow Realty in the northwestern reaches of town near the Rockaway Township border. Another is a 456-acre tract near the Butler Reservoir owned by Pepperidge Tree Realty.

Hotel Reservation The report does not list specific tracts of land to be purchased for conservation. Davis said that list will come later, once Kinnelon finds out from the state Green Acres funding program how much money it has to spend for land acquisition.
