Christensen to the position of vice president for college advancement. Christensen, currently vice president for advancement at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., will begin his new position in mid-August. Right now a group comprised of William Craft, vice president of academic affairs and dean for the college; Diane Tacke, vice president for finance and administration, art department faculty and President Richard Torgerson are currently working hard to find a new place for senior art majors to display their work. "He has a long record of success in college advancement and is recognized as one of the top professionals in fund raising for liberal arts colleges." "Over the past year, there has become a new found awareness in the hotel community of the need to maintain strong presence within the GDS channel. Roslien, current vice president for advancement, will retire in August 2000. Roslien has headed the college advan-cement office since 1985.
