(Nasdaq: YHOO) would show trends of slowing result, though he predicted Yahoo's earnings would be in line with expectations.

Cheap Hotel Rashtchy put Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) at the front of the pack, sayingPJ raised its estimates to 7.5% sequential growth and increased 2006 GAAP EPS estimates.

The savings figure is based on an internal study comparing the price for travel for two passengers of booking a flight and hotel together using priceline.com's Vacation Packages to booking the same hotel and similar flight itinerary (same travel dates and origin and destination cities) separately on priceline.com. The Vacation Package price yielded a savings of up to $325 over the separate prices of the same hotel and similar flight itinerary.

Travel Agent Software maker, Digitas (Nasdaq: DTAS), which many believe to be oversold due to concerns over Delta and GM, is perhaps better off than the street predicts, according to Rashtchy. "We believe these concerns are overdone and expect DTAS to demonstrate strong organic growth and solid guidance," Rashtchy wrote in his notes to investors.

Travel agents obtain some of their information from the same sources as online booking sites such as Orbitz and Travelocity. They also receive daily emails and faxes with new specials from resorts and hotels that may not be published on the internet. Travel agents can also call a place directly to see if they can work out other kinds of special deals for you, something an online site can’t do.

Hotel Chicago NetFlix (Nasdaq: NFLX), which is one of the most heavily shorted stocks on the street, PJ believes is a darling waiting to happen. Piper Jarffray's Rashtchy said, "We would be buyers of Netflix as we believe the company is likely to report significantly improved gross margins, combined with lower subscriber acquisition costs and/or low churn rates. This will lead to an increase in Street estimates and is
likely to cause more short covering."

Online Booking JupiterMedia (Nasdaq: JUPM), PJ expects the media stock "to report strong organic growth of 5% plus quarter over quarter versus the 1% q/q growth in Q2. We also expect JUPM to report upside to our media estimate."

Travel Health Insurance For Google, Rashtchy thinks the street's estimate of 5% growth quarter-over-quarter is low, as stated earlier, the Internet guru thinks that number is 50% higher - which could be stretch of the protractor - but tech stock lovers have to know that so far, Safa's been a notch above the others when it comes to calling the web's financial field.

Hotel Reservation Piper Jaffray remains bullish on ecommerce and online media, saying companies will be performing strongly in the third period overall. He liked HouseValues and Homestore, aQuantive, ValueClick and 24/7 Media as well. One would think you could throw a dart blind folded and hit a good return online, but Safa believed that online travel would be soft, citing Expedia and Priceline. "We believe domestic travel could continue to weaken for the online agencies," said Rashtchy.
