Do you know where Martinsville, Virginia is? I had to look it up on Google maps. It's a small township/city (15, 000 people) that drama host to one of the NASCAR cattle car races. Like most other parts of the country, both municipal and uptown, they are since improved homelessness in their territory. And like my latest blog posting, they are seeing the newly itinerant end up living in motels or on friends' couches—so that they are not officially considered "homeless."
