Starwood to Manage New Sheraton & Westin Real de Faula Hotel & Spas

Hotel Booking Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Xeresa Golf S.A. have announced the signing of a long-term management agreement under which Starwood will operate the 236-room Sheraton Real de Faula Hotel & Spa and the 224-room Westin Real de Faula Hotel & Spa in Benidorm, on Spain’s Costa Blanca Coast.

All of this might seem fairly obvious, but sometimes these straightforward lessons get lost in the rush to new technologies on the web. One great recent example, which just happens to also use a lobby as a metaphor is The Lobby, an excellent new powered blog produced and maintained by Electric Artists on behalf of Starwood Preferred Guests. In the context of its international expansion, hotel.de establishes the international "TravelRes" brand and secures the relevant local domains. The corporate accounts program of hotel.de is launched under the new brand in the UK at travelres.co.uk and travelres.com. TravelRes Ltd., a dedicated distribution company, is established in London with a view to winning new booking customers and hotels.

Travel Agent The construction of both hotels incorporates an ecological commitment including the use of renewable energies, optimal consumption of water, and recycling of sewage water for irrigation of the golf courses. Real de Faula is being developed on approximately 395 acres, with an estimated investment of approximately USD $98 million. Construction on the resort began in 2001.
