Or, that is how you have to look at it. At each place you shop, consider it like a board game, and at each place see if you can beat the dealer. hotel booking Trip Ideas Tips, Tools Deals Arthur s Blog More on Travel Talk Register Help Guidelines Rules chris2x Homepage: http://amateurtraveler.com Favorite URLs: http://amateurtravaler.com http://chris2x.com http://chris2x.com/store Most recent posts by chris2x Female traveling alone needing advice - 06:02pm Nov 26, 2007 EST -I have a friend who is a single woman who moved to Istanbul this year and says she is treated as a princess. travel agency --- Chris Christensen Amateur Traveler podcast http://AmateurTraveler.com Just Returned From Istanbul - 06:01pm Nov 26, 2007 EST - I would add my voices to those who have already said how much they enjoyed Istanbul. Depending on which way you come into the park, Oakdale or Mariposa are probably good provisioning stops. Decent grocery in Yosemite Village, but pricey... hotel chicago Trip Ideas Tips, Tools Deals Arthur s Blog More on Travel Talk Register Help Guidelines Rules Randi3525, San Francisco, CA Personal Info:Recently married, both my husband and I are retired, we love to travel with an emphasis on cruises and our Trendwest timeshare program. Seven Day RCL Cruise From Barcelona hilton hotel Has anyone taken the RCL seven night cruise from Barcelona on the Voyager of the Seas This will be our first European trip and are wondering if a seven night cruise is the way to go. Should we plan on arriving in Barcelona a day or so early Any cruise reviews Thanks and I appreciate the help. We don t know what to expect! booking delta com Write a Message giambrone (# 1 of 13) 07:40pm Sep 6, 2007 EST You should definetely plan on getting to Barcelona a day or two early. We left from there on our Med cruise 2 years ago and regretted going only 1 day early. We will be doing a Transatlantic in Dec 08 and will go to Barcelona 3 days early! I do not know the exact itinerary you are going on - but if you re doing Italy and/or Greece, you will love it and probably find 7 days not long enough. We did a 10 day on Brillance. I think a Med cruise is a great one to do as an intro to Europe - I know it got me hooked and this year we did a 14-day Baltic. travel insurance online pglr (# 2 of 13) 09:49am Sep 7, 2007 EST Thanks for your help. The cruise leaves from Barcelona then goes to Nice, France - Florence, Rome, Naples and Palermo. Any suggestions for tours at any of the above places from anyone exploradiva (# 3 of 13) 07:01am Sep 13, 2007 ESTpglr, I did a similar cruise a few years ago with Radisson (now Regent) We stopped in Rome and Florence also. If you only have one day in each city it will be tricky, but doable if you are a fast mover. In Rome, start at the Coleseum, I think you can walk to the Forum, Pantheon and Spanish Steps. Those are a must in that city. BUT, also, the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Doing both in a day is tough. If you have two days there, do both those activities. In Florence, see Saint Paul s church, Ponte Vecchio, the Arno River, (Ponte Vecchio lies across river so that is easy) and the Uffizzi, and/or Galleria (to see Michaelangelo s Statue of David) Florence is doable in one day if you are just looking to get in, see the touristy stuff and move on. All the places mentioned in Florence are walkable from one to the other. Also in that area are plenty of cafes, street performers, shops, etc.. Enjoy! london hotel I have gone on one GCT river cruise to the Christmas Markets in Germany and Austria. It was one of the most magical experiences I ve ever had. The food was wonderful, the river ship very comfortable, the markets straight out of a fairytale and the passengers were great fun. GCT takes very good care of its clients. I would do it again in a heartbeat. online hotel booking
