New York Hotel Press Release: Riviera Maya Resuming Normal Activities Following Hurricane Emily: Playa del Carmen, Mexico (July 21, 2005) -- The Riviera Maya region of Mexico, located just to the south of Cancun on the Yucatan peninsula, announces that electricity and running water have been restored to some parts of the region affected by Hurricane Emily.
