He liked the result and ordered it wherever he went, and soon the drink took on his name. Mauro Lotti, bartender at Le Grand Hotel in Rome, offers his recipe: Combine equal parts of gin (preferably Bombay Sapphire), sweet Martini & Rossi vermouth, and Campari in a large tumbler. Fill with ice and garnish with a half-slice of orange.
