He joined Amfac in 1973 as Regional Manager for this diversified hotel chain which operated 17 hotels across the country. At the time of his departure from Amfac, he was Senior Vice President of Administration. Prior to his employment with Amfac, Mr. LaTour was a General Manager for Sky Chef.

Mr. LaTour received his degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Michigan State University in 1966 and completed the Program for Management Development in 1980 at Harvard Business School. He resides in San Francisco and St. Helena, California with his wife Barbara.
