Travel Agency Pack your bags and be ready to travel to Paris. Picasso Tours announced today it is again offering its popular four-night Paris package, beginning at $399 per person, double occupancy. This super value package is available from Nov. 1, 2004 through March 31, 2005.

Picasso Tours' Paris package includes round-trip airfare, four nights stay at three-star Novotel Porte de Bagnolet and daily breakfast. Children 12 and under, staying with their parents in the same room, can travel from $299. Additional night stays and upgrades to other hotels including Ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy or Sofitel Paris Porte de Sevres are also available, but the package must be booked by Aug. 31, 2004. Travel from the US must be on Wednesdays or Thursdays or there is an additional fee to cover the increased airfare cost.

The cost of the package varies depending on the US departure city as listed below:

    * $399 from New York (JFK) * $449 from Boston and Philadelphia * $474 from Atlanta and Washington, DC * $524 from Chicago * $549 from Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami * $574 from San Francisco, Phoenix and Seattle.

This popular package is nonrefundable once confirmed and does not include airport taxes and fees. If traveling on the weekend, $30 is added to the cost per flight per person. Some blackout dates are applicable including Dec. 15, 2004 through Jan. 3, 2005.

Although travel agents have access to all of the same outlets you would use when looking to book travel, they also have access to exclusive pricing and package deals that are most times not available to the public. Your travel agent also has more leverage in helping out in situations such as hotels claiming to be booked, when in fact they may still have rooms available that are on hold for travel agents reservations. So when everyone else is telling you “No” your travel agent can help turn that to a “Yes.”
