Sherden continues success with conference title

Hotel Booking Tyler Sherden ('07) has only been running with the Norse for a short time, but he has already made his presence felt around the Iowa Conference.

Travel Agency Sherden won the 400m dash at last Saturday's Iowa Conference Indoor Championships at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa by posting a time of 49.93 seconds.

Hotel Chicago Kyle Wickwire ('06) had a busy day in the field events, competing in the triple jump, high jump and long jump. He finished fourth in the triple jump traveling 43'6 1/2".

Online Booking Wickwire's jump of 6'1 1/2" was good enough for sixth place in the high jump. He also jumped just over 21 feet in the long jump for an eleventh place finish.

Travel Health Insurance Matt Roling ('06) placed in two events for the Norse. He finished sixth in the 1000m run (2:38.70) and sixth in the 1500m run (4:10.99).

Hotel Reservation Roling had some Luther company in both of his races.

London Hotel Booking Tyler Strand ('07) finished right behind Roling in seventh place in the 1000m run (2:39.43). Nick Torgerson ('05) was one place behind Roling in the 1500m run with a time of 4:13.50.

Discount Travel Also earning points for the Norse in individual events was Antonio Thomas ('07) in the 55m dash (8.12).

Orlando Hotel The distance medley team of Roling, John Franzen ('06), John Williams ('06) and Dan Carlson ('05) finished fourth with a combined time of 10:39.52.

Booking Agency Sherden, Zach Wirth ('07), Tyler Mattison ('06) and Tom Herring ('06) also took fourth place in the 4x200m, crossing the line in 1:32.72.

International Travel Medical Sherden, Wirth, Herring and Jim Hildebrand ('06) finished in fifth place in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:29.36.
