This is a rather clever idea that debuted recently at the Specialty Equipment Marketing show in Las Vegas.

Hotel Booking The One Step, which retails for $150, gives you some 50 square inches of connection area to your trailer ... in other words, all you gotta be is close. No more muttering at friends, spouse, mother-in-law or kids that they didn't "direct" you backward right, no more blown back disks when you try and muscle the trailer head closer because you're sure as hell not going to back up again. Nope. All solved with the One Step.

Travel Agency The unit plugs into any existing 2-inch hitch receiver; the part that carries the ball swivels on the part that plugs in to the receiver ... thus allowing you some freedom from accuracy when lining up on your trailer tongue. The swivel is a sealed auto-bearing assembly rated at 37,000 pounds; the unit automatically locks into towing position when you drive away. One Step is rated for Class II through IV towing capacity, and it has a "Phos-Moly" surface finish that actually seeps into the metal rather than just being a covering.

The research study also demonstrates that travel agents are increasing their reliance on GDS systems for hotel information. Nearly 90% of travel agents say that they use their GDS and GDS shopping displays as much or more today than two years ago. Travel agents also report increased use of hotel property Web sites compared to two years ago. Travel agents are less likely now to use printed hotel directories, direct mail, fax, and the phone to gather information about hotels.
